The last few years I have developed a strange fasscination with meatballs! Meatballs are such a versitile item that with just the change of a few ingredients and spices, you can completely change the characteristics of a meatball. I make meatballs about once a week in the winter and in the summer I simply change them into patties and we have international hamburgers.
I am a homeschool mom, busy teaching, cleaning, chauffering my child around, blogging and trying to take care of myself, that I have very little time to cook. By the time I get into the kitchen at 6 at night, I really want something fast and easy and really not a lot of thought! So my go to is meatballs and the bonus of making meatballs is that you can double, triple or more your favorite meatballs and freeze them for later use! Meatballs are also very versitile, you can use them in many soups.
Meatballs can have an elegent side, like when I make Belgian meaatbals braised in beer and endives or just everyday, like when I make Italian, store bough marinara and mozerella cheese. So please join me and enjoy some different types of meatballs from around the world!
